Design conversation flows for Tanya to follow. Create decision trees, set up keyword-based routing, and configure fallback responses for unrecognized queries.
Designing effective chatbot conversation flows ensures that the Tanya chatbot provides helpful, accurate responses to your customers. This guide covers how to create and manage chatbot responses.
The response builder uses a visual flow editor. Start with a trigger (visitor sends a message), add decision nodes (check message content), and connect them to response nodes (send a reply). Drag and drop to create complex flows.
Create decision trees for common scenarios. For example: if a visitor asks about pricing, show plan options; if they ask about features, provide links to documentation; if they report a bug, collect details and create a ticket.
Keyword-based routing matches visitor messages to specific responses. Add multiple keywords and phrases for each response to improve matching accuracy. You can set confidence thresholds to determine when the chatbot should ask for clarification.
Fallback responses are shown when the chatbot cannot match a visitor's message to any configured response. Set up a helpful fallback that offers options: "I'm not sure I understand. Would you like to: 1) Browse our FAQ, 2) Talk to a human agent, or 3) Leave a message?"
